Request for Proposals to Transform Downtown Waterloo

PUBLIC NOTICE

Request for Proposal/Qualifications.

The Town of Waterloo Redevelopment Commission is requesting Statements of Proposal/Qualifications from qualified parties for the acquisition of land and redevelopment of property for the entire west side of the 200 block of North Wayne Street.

In accordance with IC 5-23-5, the Town of Waterloo Redevelopment Commission, Indiana (Town), invites any and all qualified parties to submit Statements of Proposal/Qualifications, under a public-private partnership, to purchase, design, obtain financing, and construct a retail and residential structure in the heart of downtown Waterloo. An electronic PDF of the Statement of Proposal/Qualifications should be emailed to Tena Woenker, Town Manager, at townmanager@waterlooin.gov by 4:00 pm EST on November 18, 2019 in order to be considered. A bid submitted by a trust (as defined in IC 30-4-1-1(a) must identify a) beneficiary of the trust and b) settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust. The Redevelopment Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals. And, thereafter the Redevelopment Commission may proceed in any manner provided by law.
