CP Holiday Train Block Party
Nov. 29, 2018 (TBD), 8:00 p.m.- ?
Waterloo Main Street is hosting a block party as we celebrate the 20th annual trip of the beautifully lit Canadian Pacific (CP) Railroad Holiday Train as it passes by our favorite park and historic train station. Enjoy food, vendors, and entertainment at the depot. In CP tradition, we’re collecting canned goods, especially fruit or vegetables with pull-tab lids, for local food pantries.
Park and Ride an old-fashioned trolley from parking lots at Waterloo Elementary, United Methodist Church or New Hope Christian Center. The train usually passes by around midnight but we’ll keep tabs on it all night with social media to keep the crowd updated. Learn about the holiday train at https://www.cpr.ca/holiday-train/canada
